Wolf 359 Reunion: Celebrating a Modern Classic!

One of audio fiction’s most iconic sci-fi sagas is celebrating a big birthday this year. Wolf 359, the genre-bending space adventure that helped define modern audio drama, turns ten years old, and its creators and cast are reuniting to mark the occasion! Billed as a “cult sensation in the audio drama space” and “a modern classic” in fiction podcasting, Wolf 359 originally aired from 2014 to 2017, capturing listeners’ imaginations with the misadventures aboard the U.S.S. Hephaestus space station.

A decade later, its popularity and influence haven’t waned, and now long-time fans (and newcomers) have a chance to celebrate together.

To commemorate the 10th anniversary, the team behind Wolf 359 is hosting a special reunion panel at the London Podcast Festival 2025. On September 7, creators and cast members will take the stage to discuss the making of the series and reminisce about its journey from a scrappy indie production to a podcast phenomenon. Attendees can expect to hear from the people who brought the story to life – including showrunner Gabriel Urbina, writer/producer Sarah Shachat, and voice actors like Emma Sherr-Ziarko (who portrayed Commander Minkowski) – as they reflect on the show’s legacy. It’s a rare opportunity to peek behind the curtain of a fan-favorite show and to see the Wolf 359 crew together again after so many years. Even if you can’t make it to London, the very existence of this event is a testament to how deeply Wolf 359 has resonated with listeners and how fiction podcasts can grow into something truly special with time.
